This two-week ‘Sustainable Fashion’ course is designed for youth (aged 16-24) from all educational backgrounds (formal, non formal and informal). Unlike traditional programs, this course uses immersive live-streamed virtual world tours that takes learners a global exploration of sustainable fashion. The course aims to equip learners with an understanding of the impact of fashion on the environment and society, knowledge of sustainable fashion materials and the practical skills to create upcycled fashion products. Also included is entrepreneurial skills to develop and build thier own up cycled fashion products.
This course isn't just about learning; it's about experiencing, engaging, and shaping a sustainable future for fashion.

Week 1:
Day 1: Impact of Fast Fashion
• Get an insight into the environmental and social consequences of fast fashion.
• Embark on a live virtual world tour to trace the journey of fashion waste and its far-reaching impact.
• Engage in discussions about the observed challenges and potential solutions.
Day 2: Sustainable Fashion Practices Worldwide
• Dive into the world of sustainable fashion practices and their global significance.
• Take a live virtual world tour to meet organizations across different countries known for their sustainable fashion initiatives.
• Analyze case studies of specific sustainable fashion projects from around the world.
Day 3: Sustainable Materials and Fabrics
• Explore the diverse world of sustainable and unsustainable fabrics and materials.
• Virtually visit a sustainable materials production facility in another country to witness the process.
• Discuss the importance of choosing sustainable materials in eco-friendly fashion.
Days 4-5: Practical Sustainable Fashion Workshops
• Participate in hands-on workshops. Create various upcycled products specific to different industries.
