This is a unique opportunity for students in other parts of the world to virtually meet children in Qatar and compare school life in each other's countries.
Globe From Home’s International Classroom exchange sessions completely eliminates the limitations of real life exchange programs bringing students from different countries together virtually and in real time .
On this sessions school students around the world will be paired with similarly aged students in a school in Qatar. Students will discuss daily life in their respective schools and find out about similarities and differences -in the process identifying with each other and learning about the other's culture. Students will discuss various aspects of daily school life including routines, learning, sports and food. Students at the school in Qatar will show participants around their school (Participating students can also showcase their classrooms and schools on the session).
These sessions serve to create a unique bond between children from different countries and cultures.
Charly JacobCharly is one of the Executive Producers at Globe from Home and brings more than two decades of experience in Tourism management into creating special travel experiences.
Charly has been involved in campaigns involving the conservation of environment and is an active team member in our Responsible Tourism projects. His other interests include listening to music and driving.
Our International Class Exchange sessions are offered free of charge for participating schools. These sessions are designed to accommodate a maximum of 50 students. Suitable for all age groups. When you book the session, please indicate dates that are convenient to you. Globe From Home will then co-ordinate with partner schools in Qatar to arrange the session.
Once the pairing is complete, we send you an email with a link to join session. Participants can log in from their classrooms/ homes on the scheduled dates using the link provided.
Each session requires a teacher from both schools being present as co-hosts along with the Globe From Home team.
