Sibenik was naturally inclined to become a significant renaissance centre with its unique location of being in a safe natural harbour of the Adriatic Sea, bang on the estuary of River Krka. We also arrive at St. James Cathedral to admire its magnificent architecture, which incidentally led it being named on the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites.
